Please remember that WLP has both underground and overhead electrical lines. We ask you to use caution when you work with ladders or antennas. Help us teach children to stay away from power lines and equipment. Our electric department takes pride in providing you with an electric system which has a record of excellent reliability. You can help us maintain this reliability by using the free services which we provide. Our tree-trimming program is one of these services. Trees which grow into power lines are a system and safety hazard. A tree branch on a line can cause a power outage. It is possible you may be injured by touching a tree which is in contact with an energized electric line. We trim these trees free of charge. Call 352-6251.
